Ingredients:

1 box yellow cake mix and ingredients required to make the cupcakes
Betty Crocker® Decorating Icing in green, white, yellow, pink and purple
Betty Crocker® Green Sugar Crystals
Betty Crocker® Decorating Tips
Cake Mate® Pearl Cupcake Gems

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°. Line 18 standard sized cupcakes with baking cups. Prepare cake batter as directed on the package. Fill cupcakes 3/4 full and bake as directed on the package or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool completely.

Pipe about 1/2 cup Betty Crocker® Green Icing into a small microwave safe bowl and microwave for 8-10 seconds or until just melted. Pour the Betty Crocker® Green Sugar Crystals in a small bowl. Spoon about 1 tablespoon green icing onto a cupcake and spread a thin layer onto the surface. Roll the top of the cupcake in the Green Sugar Crystals. Repeat with remaining cupcakes. You are now ready to pipe on the flowers.

White Daisies

Pipe the green leaves first. Place the leaf tip on the Green Icing and pipe leafs around the perimeter of the cupcake. Next, pipe the white petals by using the leaf tip and White Icing. Start at the center of the cupcake, pulling the tip to the edge of the cupcake while applying pressure on the tube. As you complete the petal, gradually release pressure and pull tip toward the right to angle the petal. Use the Yellow Icing and the star tip to pipe a star in the center of the flower.

Yellow Gerbera Daisies

Pipe the green leaves first. Place the leaf tip on the Green Icing and pipe leafs around the perimeter of the cupcake. Next, pipe the yellow petals by using the leaf tip and Yellow Icing. Start in the center of the cupcake, pulling the tip to the edge of the cupcake while applying pressure on the tube. Continue to pipe petals all the way around the cupcake and then another layer on top. Sprinkle the center with pearls.

Pink Carnation

Pipe the green leaves first. Place the leaf tip on the Green Icing and pipe leafs around the perimeter of the cupcake. Next, use the Yellow Icing to pipe a star in the center of the cupcake. Then pipe the pink petals by using the leaf tip and Pink Icing. Star at the center of the cupcake, piping small leaves all the way around to the outer edge of the cupcake.

Purple Coneflower

Pipe the green leaves first. Using the Green Icing and leaf tip, start at the center of the cupcake, piping each leaf all the way to the edge of the cupcake. Next, use the Purple Icing and leaf tip to create similar long petals. Finish by sprinkling pearls in the center.
